Seventy years after Joseph Friedman purchased a small window cleaning company, Toledo Building Services continues as a family-owned business, with a well-earned reputation for providing its customers with the highest levels of service, integrity and value. Joseph's son Joel returned from serving in the Army Air Corps in World War II and increased the company’s size and services to customers throughout our region.

Today, TBS is led by Joseph’s grandson, Lawrence Friedman, who started with the company as a teenager working weekends and left a successful legal career to continue a family tradition. Similarly, our senior management team have all risen through the ranks. TBS is proud of a long-term partnership with the members of SEIU Local 1.
